Internet Browser Caching And Pop-ups
XCM’s content is dynamic in that information displayed on XCM web pages is loaded from the XCM database every time a page is visited. As a result, your browser may mistakenly show a locally cached copy of an XCM page instead of including the current updated information. To avoid this problem, disabling your browser cache is highly recommended.
Pop-ups appear as separate windows on top of the original web page and browsers by default typically prevent them from opening. However, since XCM uses pop-ups to display important information, your browser must be set to allow them.
The recommended cache and pop-up settings for accessing XCM application in different browsers are explained in the following sections.
Your IT department may have policies that define your browser configuration, so it is always a good idea to involve them in any changes or if you need any assistance implementing them.
